What this table does not cover
The source guide only carries the non-OT-Access-Registry rate. If your occupational therapist is on the OT Access Registry, a different rate may apply; we have not published a figure for that because it was not on the page this table was sourced from.
Do I need TAC approval first?
Occupational therapy is on the TAC's first-90-day list. The TAC can pay for it without prior approval as long as it is recommended by your doctor or health professional and relates to your accident injuries. Continuing past 90 days needs an Allied Health Treatment and Recovery Plan.
What this means if you are the client
If your occupational therapist bills at or below $170.07 per hour and bills the TAC directly, you should not be out of pocket for standard assessment, intervention or report-writing time.
What this means if you bill the TAC
The TAC pays $170.07 per hour for standard occupational therapy assessment, intervention and reports (item OTN100) for providers not on the OT Access Registry, effective 1 July 2026. Treatment beyond the first 90 days needs an Allied Health Treatment and Recovery Plan submitted for approval.
