Do I need TAC approval first?
Exercise physiology is on the TAC's first-90-day list. The TAC can pay for it without prior approval as long as it is recommended by your doctor or health professional and relates to your accident injuries. Continuing past 90 days needs an Allied Health Treatment and Recovery Plan.
What this means if you are the client
If your exercise physiologist bills at or below the TAC rate for their GST-registration status and bills the TAC directly, you should not be out of pocket for the session.
